About Almost Curated

Almost Curated is a cozy, imperfect guide to taste, comfort, and calm. It’s for people who love beautiful things but can’t be bothered to chase perfection.

Here, “good enough” is a design philosophy. We light candles before decluttering. We believe in soft lighting, lived-in corners, and the idea that a home should feel like you, not an algorithm.

I started Almost Curated because I wanted a space for aesthetic inspiration that didn’t require burnout, beige homogeneity, or a personality overhaul. Think of it as a mood board with boundaries, equal parts cozy, self-aware, and done-ish.

About the Author

I’m Lesley, a writer, former tech project manager, and chronic re-arranger of cozy corners. After years of treating home as a productivity zone, I wanted a space that feels human again. Almost Curated is my experiment in beauty without burnout; a slower kind of taste.

A cozy living room with sunlight streaming through a large window, casting shadows on the wall. There is a white sofa with beige and patterned pillows, a rust-colored throw blanket, a side table with a potted plant, and a wicker basket filled with wooden toys on the floor. Wooden blocks are scattered on the floor.
